I seen some pics of 'green envy' and thought it was neat so purchased without researching first.
Anyone with first hand growing experience?
Is it similiar to some of the newer not so wonderful types (weak growth, poor flowers, etc)......when I looked online afterwards it seems to have few but mixed reviews.

In my zone 7, the blooms of this plant turned to a grayish pink color. The "green" area barely had any green at all. I know people in zone 5 that had good color, but not sure about your zone. It is definitely effected by temperatures as far as color is concerned.

I second that, the flowers look nice for a short period before they fade to a gray purple. I forgot to move this one to a slightly shaded area to help. It has come back strong this year though.

The color on mine is pretty good, doesn't fade to the extent it does for some. I planted it in 07, it came through last winter (it was really wet and cold for here) with flying colors. Mine is in shade from 3:30pm on.
