Cimicifuga 'Brunette' or 'Black Neglige'

Does anyone have both varieties? Which one do you prefer? Are there noticeable differences in colour? If so, then which of the two has darker / deeper purple foliage? I have read that Brunette has scented flowers, how about Black Neglige?

I have 'Black Negligee' and it smells like grape kool aid or pop to me.

It is in quite a bit of shade so it isn't as dark as I've seen in full sun.

Thanks for replying! Since the salespeople of my local nurseries didn´t have any answers for me either, I went and bought the Brunette today (hoping that this would be darker of the two).

It will be planted near brunnera Looking Glass and heuchera Plum Royale in a bed that gets afternoon sun / light dappled shade. I hope it will perform well there.

I think they get darker with more sun. I saw some in full sun today but forgot to read the tags to see which cultivar they were. They were much darker than mine.

I have both and have yet to see a difference.
