Seedling ID if you please

I just discovered this today. It's about an inch across and about an inch height - very succulent leaves.

I have a feeling I recognize this plant, but if it is what I think it is I haven't even attempted to grow it in about 15 years. I think it survived a season or two back them. I won't say what I think it is until I hear what you think it might be.

Maybe it came as a hitchhiker in some of my Bluestone plants? I have a new sedum from them planted very close by.

Here's a couple photos from the Web - not mine. The first is moss rose and second delosperma.

Yup, ice plant.

Hmm, the seedling definitely looks more like ice plant, but does that seed freely? Portulaca seeds very freely and comes up everywhere. I once rescued a seedling from a crack in the middle of the street, lol.

Either way, lucky you!

I was thinking delosperma too, but like I said it's been years since I grew this plant. I may have had some moss rose in this bed at one point, but again - it's been at least 10 years since I've had that around.

This bed is one of my hardest - SW location and on the dry side since there are a lot of tree roots around. The odd thing is that I wanted to try delosperma again, but since it's not readily available around here, I never got any. I had made a mental note to put it on my list for ordering next year. Maybe I don't have too now.

That looks like my seedlings of Portulaca, an annual which I find seeds itself around as Dee says freely and everywhere.
