Pulsatilla

So, after you guys raved about pulsatilla in my previous post this spring, I purchased four of them. They are dying off! Not sure if too wet (was *very* wet spring here) and they rotted out or if they are plants that go dormant and they will be just fine next spring - ? .

Mine are all in well draining soil and seem to be doing fine after our very wet spring. Does your soil drain well?

Did they bloom nicely for you and put out the pretty seed heads? Mine usually have a great show of bloom and seed and then want to give up the ghost. They seem to go somewhat dormant in my garden but always come back the following spring.
