| Hi, folks. I grew a whole slew of delphs from seed this January; they've been growing in little pots in my cold frame. I've planted some out in the garden, but to my shock and horror I looked at the rest this week and found they'd been eaten alive by these yellow-green inch worms. The stems seem OK, do you think they'll recover if planted out now? I've seen many a delphinium come back after some trauma, but not sure about anything this severe. Any counsel appreciated.

| It's the delphinium worm. You can check the plants and squash any worms that you find (my daughter used to call them jelly worms). It will set back the flowering a bit, but the plants eventually recover. |

| Thanks for this advice and info. I'm hoping for the best. I wonder if diatomaceous earth would help. |
