The name of this plant has been on the tip of my tongue for a few days and it is driving me crazy! They usually have hot pink or white flowers and the foliage is greyish. There is one of each colour next to each other.

Anyone?

Lychnis coronaria/rose campion. The white form is 'alba.' They will self-seed around the garden but I don't consider them invasive, just welcome volunteers.

Thanks, I knew that I knew it. It pops up wherever it pleases but it always pleases me :)
