I planted one of those Agastache Purple Haze last year and it looked awesome, floriferous, about 2 ft tall, nice and full. Now, it's towering about 4 ft tall and somewhat spindly in stems. I did cut back in spring this year but it didn't help to control it's height. Is there anything I can do in spring next year to control the height to about 3 ft or less and still get blooms?

If growing in the full sun and not fertilized, excess size should not be a problem. Al

I encountered this problem in 2009. My 'Purple Haze' didn't take too well to being cut back like my other agastache varieties. I switched to 'Black Adder'. Cameron
