| Not sure if this guy is a weed, perennial, annual or what. It was found growing on the side of the road in southern Ohio today.
Anyone know what it is?

| A variety of thistle with much more unobtrusive seed heads is my most pervasive and annoying weed. |

| aaargh, making me wince, just looking at it. Sow thistle season is fully established on my allotment - weeks and weeks of grovelling about with a daisy grubber await me. |
