Salvia East Friesland Flopping

I have quite a few of these plants because of the reseeding they do. They are just now starting to bloom. As normal extremely high wind last night and they are all flopping except for the ones that are against other plants or shrubs. My question is. Do I cut them back now or just let the do their show. Hard for me to leave them flopping all over the place, to me its not very pretty. Anyway if I cut them now how far back do I cut them and will they bloom again or will it take a while and then when they bloom flop again? Thanks for your help.

I had a gasplant that used to splay out when it got very tall and the wind would knock it down. I took an old tomato cage, cut off the pointy ends, turned it upside down so that the wide part was at the bottom, and then used the cut off ends (bent into the shape of a U) to anchor the cage to the ground. I haven't had a problem with it since. You need to do this when the plant is still fairly small or else you risk breaking off some stems. This is a good thing to do for some sedums too.

Or you can replace it with Salvia Caradonna. It never flops for me. If something does not flop for me, it should not flop for anybody(I'm close to the North Sea coast).

I shovel pruned due to the flopping. I don't have hot, sunny, infertile, fast draining soil though which I believe it prefers.
