So jealous! I have not had really good luck with them, not enough sun. Very beautiful, I love all the clumps of color and the background is amazing! Great job, that makes all the hard work worth it. Thank you so much for sharing! Keriann~

Holy cow, fantastic! So amazing to me to live where there is such gorgeous mountain and farm views and not see a house forty feet away. I haven't tried to grow them in years. They get really big aphids here and mildew too.

That a picture for a flower garden magazine! Thanks for sharing it with us, such beauty there. Do you plant new ones each year or they just keep reseeding? What do you have in your soil?

Your lupines are gorgeous, and the view is grand. This is the first year I am trying lupine in my central PA garden. Our temps have been high for June so I don't know how they will settle in. Can you give me any pointers? Thank you. Jane

So beautiful! Just wondering what you grow in that area once the lupines are done blooming.

Thanks everyone for all your sweet comments. I grow cucumbers, pumpkins, squash and gourds to take over late in the season. I have so many little one that I leave to grow and give away that most of the year there is blooms here. I also have snapdragons, asters, lillies and moss roses around the edges. We do add cow manure to our soil every few years from farmers in the area. I have so many colors and the new colors are from the bees pollinating for me. My mom started this collection and I've tried to keep them going since she passed. I don't leave all the blooms or I wouldn't be able to walk in that bed the way they reseed here. If anyone wants some please let me know. I sent out hundreds of seeds last season all over the US. As you can see most of the edge is covered with daffodils, hyacinths, alliums and tulips to start the spring bloom. Punk

Stunning! Sometimes I see more blue lupines are NH but I much prefer the color variety you have.

They are beautiful. Here in Maine most of all the Lupines are Purple sometimes with a few pinks mixed in but not much. We got lucky last year, we were driving by some wild lupines in the woods that were starting to seed themselves, so we grabbed some. Now they are all over our garden they are truly hardy!

Those are beautiful. Love the mass planting of them. How long do Lupine hold their bloom? I'm trying Lupine for the first time this year. Not only are the blooms gorgeous, I really like the foliage on these plants.
