| This particular plant was striking even from a distance.
It is a perennial which is currently about 2 feet in height and about 18" across. It is upright with somewhat 'pom pom' like flowers. It seems very much a coreopsis and my first guess was Big Bang Galaxy. But the pictures I have seen of Galaxy show flowers that are less 'scrunchy' ie a bit more open, more easily showing the centre. What do you think? |

| It could be Galaxy. All of Probst's coreopsis are fabulous. |

| I have Galaxy and this isn't it. Galaxy is shorter and the flowers are single not double and yellower. That could be Double Sunburst or Sunray but there are several double flower cultivars so it might take some work to narrow it down. |

| Good suggestions mistacscott....another might be "Early Sunrise". So many possibilities :(. |

| Looks like the double I got at Lowes last year. I will see if I can find the tag. |
