I posted a pic of this about a week ago and no one knew what it was. It's starting to flower now, so I hope that helps.

Here's the original picture I posted, since it shows the leaves better:

I loaded the post & reloaded to be able to see pics. Not sure if that's why you've not had a lot of responses. Sometimes the pic isn't showing up on the post.

Really a big guess because I don't know enough & bloom isn't opened. Monarda, bee balm if the leaves are fragrant.

take more pics once flower has opened
-entire plant to show stem & branching pattern
-closeup of entire leaf
-closeup of flower or at least a photo of flower on plant, but not entire plant

Make more observations of the plant & provide details about --
fragrance of leaves (remove one & crush it a bit) or flowers
one flower per stem or a cluster of flowers
height
width
did you plant a seed mix
bird sown seed?
single plant or a group of them (I can see some in the background)
growing in sun or shade
--
Many times once the flower has opened it's much easier to identify.
post on the name that plant forum

Not showing for me, either.

Can't see the pics.

Well I see 2 pics again. I wonder if this is a Monarda? Was that a suggestion last time you asked? The leaves are curled up strangely and there are so many bunched up with the bud. It's been a while, but I don't remember Monarda doing that. It looks like the stems are square. Do you notice any odor if you tear/crush a leaf?

Good news...I can see both pictures now.
Bad news...I have no clue what it is, unless Monarda.

It looks like the flowers are just starting to open a pinkish red. Could it be Joe Pye weed? Is it tall? If you could take another picture when more flowers open and also a picture showing the size of the plant it might help with an ID.

Looks neither as Monarda nor Joe Pye weed to me.

I'm going to throw my hat in the ring with Lobelia cardinalis.

Here is a link that might be useful: Lobelia cardinalis

Very strange that the pictures doesn't always show up. The mysteries of the internet.

It's definitely not monarda - I have a huge stand of that right behind this plant.

I'll keep waiting. I'll report back with new pics in a few days. If it turns out to be lobelia I'll be very delighted.

The photo of lobelia in the link from carrieb is quite similar to the OP photo. Do update us when that bloom is open. I enjoy finding out names of plants.
