Phlox in spring

Bulbs

More bulbs

Front bed is a work in progress and will look better when everything fills out. Note VS hydrangea in the corner. Have some KO roses there that are too small to noticed at this time.

One of my favorites: a gold leaved oak leaf hydrangea

Latest addition: New bed with crimson sentry maple and autumn moon JM. Now just need to figure out what to put in it.

I've never seen a gold oak leaf hydrangea, it's beautiful! Nice gardens!

Very nice! Love the tulips - red tulips are my favorite. Fill us in on the gold oakleaf - height/width, where you purchased. May have to hunt one down...

That hydrangea is really cool. The front bed looks good already. It will look great when filled out.

The oakleaf is called "little honey". It is available from bluestone but I didn't want a tiny plant so I got it from a mail order nursery in oregon. I can't recall the name but they sent me a decent sized plant last year. It gets about 3-4 ft tall and wide and white flowers. It doesn't look like it will flower this year but I don't care to be honest. It has filled out nicely and the foliage is fantastic. It doesn't like too much sun though.
