| I planted a dozen or so blackeyed Susuan plants form the garden center. They are 2.5 qt size and looked excellent in the pots. In about 8 days they all look like hell.
The other plants in the same soil seem to be doing ok. I am going to return them, but not sure if I should get more. Does the photo look like something common? Thanks RObert |

| Where they in a greenhouse or under cover at the garden center? They may have needed to be hardened off before planting. Also, some nurseries will pot plants up just prior to selling(worked at one once), so they may have had to deal with transplant shock twice within a small time frame. |

| If they were potbound, they're more difficult to transplant unless you soak the roots and gently loosen them to spread them out in the ground. The big box stores often sell potbound plants and if you can lift the soil out of the pot with the plant, they're difficult candidates IMHO. Cameron |
