Datura going wild !

So if you live in southern cali., don't water your datura I only had one plant in the front planter but I pulled it out when we prepared the planter to start from scratch. We planted new flowers and mulched.Datura is growing like weed! It is easy to pull them out but each single tiny plant has roots. I think my planter looks like this because the older plants seeds spread out all over the place.

Datura wrightii will reseed in the Midwest, so it's a (pseudo)perennial here.

If you don't want seedlings you will have to dead head before seeds form. Al

It's growing like a weed because it is a weed.
