Platycodon stems being eaten

Posted by shelleyh z5 NY (My Page) on

I have several platycodon around my garden but there is one that, every year, the bottom of the stems get, I think, eaten
so that the whole stem dies and pulls out of the ground. It has a rough looking cut not a clean incisor bite. Any ideas?
