I have a lot of self-sown seedlings of this plant and am curious to know if they generally grow up to be as spectacular as the mother plant? For those of you who have raised a bunch of these, have you ever had a dud or do they usually turn out pretty good? I can't keep all of them, but I am allowing a bunch to grow. Kevin

Many companies sell the seed for golden-leaved Agastache foeniculum and I do think it breeds almost entirely true. I am pretty sure 'Golden Jubilee' is a marketing name rather than a real cultivar name. You may have a few seedlings with green leaves here and there, especially if grown in the vicinity of other A. foeniculum types like mine, but they will be easy to weed out. My plants also self-seeded vigorously this season. I had to pull up about 99% of the seedlings. But still, nothing like the rampant reseeding of Verbena bonariensis! :-)

Mine seed true, so you should be in good shape for some nice, new plants.

Thank you. That's good news. So far, I've only seen golden leaved seedlings, but maybe I just hoed out the green ones thinking they were weeds. They really are cute - being so golden and so small. Kevin
