No color like "Even Cheesier"

I do "bad-mouth" coneflowers due to their susceptibility to various health issues but of the few remaining I have in the garden I really like the flower colour of "Even Cheesier"....very unique; very much like KD. This plant has been hardy for me for several years and doesnt get full sun so I am impressed.

Very nice! I love how that green center contrasts with the cadmium yellow petals. I'll put this one on my look-at list for next year. Sadly, I have to agree with your opinion of coneflowers. The last few years I've also been removing many of them for the same reasons.

That is a gorgeous colour, rouge. I'd love to have more coneflowers in my garden but they seem so expensive at my local garden centres. I still haven't replaced Harvest Moon which i had for 4 years.

Hmm... Marigold, meet coneflower.

I'm not sure what to make of it! I like how the green eye contrasts with the yellow/orange petals though.

I thought that having that color was what Rudbeckias were for....

Of course I was more thinking of (very) unique colour for a coneflower. It really does remind me of the color of "Kraft Dinner".

Hmmmmm..... I always knew I liked grilled cheese with tomato soup! I actually like the color of this one, and I'm not that huge a fan of the new coneflowers. But I do like this and 'Tomato Soup'. They might make quite a stunning combo on the menu in the garden.
