Big Blue is so blue

As always my camera skills do not do this plant justice. An Eryngium's steel blue colour coupled with the unusual textures and unique flower makes it a must perennial in my garden.

I do sometimes see Sea Holly "babies" here and there. But it has never been an issue for me as there aren't many and they are easily removed.

Gorgeous, I used to have a plant or two in my garden, seeing yours makes me remember how much I loved this plant, a real eye catcher.

That is beautiful! I don't have room for one, but I might have to rethink that.

Beautiful, I need more short plants for the front of my bed but may have to find a spot for one of those if I can find a plant.

That's an incredible blue. I used to grow just the straight species and it was nowhere near that arresting.

How gorgeous, Rouge. I have to ask, are the prickly bits hard like thistles, or soft? I would love to plant one of these but am a bit of a suck when it comes to things that jab...

Pam it is quite thistle like. I also don't like the feel but it is worth it for the other worthwhile attributes
