As always my camera skills do not do this plant justice. An Eryngium's steel blue colour coupled with the unusual textures and unique flower makes it a must perennial in my garden. I do sometimes see Sea Holly "babies" here and there. But it has never been an issue for me as there aren't many and they are easily removed.

Gorgeous, I used to have a plant or two in my garden, seeing yours makes me remember how much I loved this plant, a real eye catcher. Annette

Beautiful, I need more short plants for the front of my bed but may have to find a spot for one of those if I can find a plant.

So lovely! Rouge, you certainly have a knack!

That's an incredible blue. I used to grow just the straight species and it was nowhere near that arresting.

You guys are always so kind. I for sure show only my best stuff. I have learned and continue to learn lots from all of you.

How gorgeous, Rouge. I have to ask, are the prickly bits hard like thistles, or soft? I would love to plant one of these but am a bit of a suck when it comes to things that jab...
|
Pam it is quite thistle like. I also don't like the feel but it is worth it for the other worthwhile attributes
