I purchased some seeds for Polemonium reptans (Creeping Jacob's Ladder) 'Blue Pearl,' but after the fact, I found out that cats are supposedly attracted to this plant. Apparently it has an effect on them similar to catnip, and they roll on the plant, often damaging it. I have problems with neighborhood cats coming in my garden and doing their business, so I don't really want to encourage extra visits (and I certainly don't want them rolling around in my flower beds). Some sources I found said that cats are only attracted to the plant if it has been cut or bruised.
Does anyone have this plant? Have you had trouble with it attracting unwanted feline attention?
