Last year I planted three Pow Wow cone flowers. Two of the three are blooming beautifully, but as for the third.... take a look. Any idea what is going on? ![]() |

| Google - "Aster yellows" That's probably what's wrong with the plant. It should be destroyed and there's a good chance your others will develop the same disease. Sorry for the bad news. Kevin |

| It's called Aster Yellows. You should get rid of it to help prevent spread to the other two. |

| Thanks for the information! I never heard of aster yellows before. The diseased one is removed; time will tell about the other two. I'm assuming I shouldn't put a new plant in the hole anytime soon.... |

| That's quite the perfectly aster yellow'ed plant! The virus can only live in living plant tissue.... Not in the soil... So you should be good to replant. |
