Echinacea Double Decker ??

Hello P-one lovers & collectors ~ Not a collector all I have is my beloved P-Cone ordinaire that brings in equally beloved Gold Finches. In 2007 got Big Sky that nevr showed back the ff season! 2010 I found a gal pot of DD that reminds me of my dau as a Jr brdsmaid dresses in same color w/ a head-dress of blossoms. 2011 I was told to be patient ~ took so long but eventually flushed some DD blooms among single P-Cones ~ they were great. This 2012 w/ our early start to garden season, all DD so far flushed are these: I hope you see pix!

?1 ~ Do they occasionally show up this way?
?2 ~ Should I give a bit more time for these blooms w/ green tufts to color up?

Appreciate your thoughts & expertise! TIA!
