| I am trying to compile a list of asters that are clump forming and those that spread by rhizomes. I have been searching the Internet with no success. Sure hope you guys can help. Thanks so much. |

| I've grown a lot of asters over the years, New York Asters(novi-belgi) some are well behaved some are not, New England Asters(novae-angliae) I've never had one run on me. The Amellus group are pretty well behaved too. The link below for Old Court Nurseries in the UK has lots of really good information on all the perennials asters. Their mail order is closed for the season but if you look at their site in the spring they'll have their online list up and running with the info on each asters they have for sale. Hope this helps. |
