| The globe thistles I planted in mid-April in full sun (shaded about an hour by day lily leaves) appear healthy - when are they supposed to bloom? |
Follow-Up Postings:

| In your zone, they should be blooming now. Sometimes when I plant new plants, they are a little unpredictable the first season because they are getting established. |
|
| Mine used to come into full bloom right about now, although it would start to bud by mid to late June. |
|
| Here in my Zone 6 garden, they have been blooming for over a week now; you are aware, I hope, that if you don't deadhead that lovely blue globe when it's finished blooming, you'll almost surely end up with plenty of seedlings next season ! Carl |
