Mercury rising - First impressions

I've been waiting for someone to start this off. Nothing much so far, so I'll jump in here.

Boy, does it sprawl.

Boy, the flowers are pretty.

Shown here with Campanula 'Kent Belle', Flower Carpet 'Apple Blossom'. Okay, so I've got plebeian tastes.

They are super-pretty! I'd forgive the sprawl myself.

There was actually another thread about this a little while ago.

Here is a link that might be useful: Mercury Rising thread

Okay, dummy here missed the other thread.

Interesting that in the two pictures in the threads, the flower colors are different. I thought it was more seasonal.

I planted two just a few weeks ago. I don't mind the sprawl, but mine is turning much more purple than it was initially. Anyone else finding this to be true?

By this Sunday, July 7 we will have had temps in the mid to upper nineties for nearly a week. That is "Mercury Risen" for the greater Boston area.
Which is what I thought the post was about the first three times I looked at the subject line.
First Impressions? it is too damned hot.
