I can't believe it! I started these Hollyhocks from seed early enough in spring that I am already getting a ton of buds... Another one of my favorite flowers. They always say the 2nd year is the best, if that holds true next year will be amazing! :)

I googled Hollyhocks after you suggested it to my post & found on Youtube this avid collector in Saginaw. Just you watch out AdamKR ~ the Hollyhock collector started w/ loving 1 plant now he has hundreds & in all colors imaginable!!! If you haven't seen it, I suggest you did ~ you will drool!

A hollyhock grew in my garden this year that I never planted. I assume a bird brought it to me. I'd love to propogate it into more plants. From what I'm reading, I don't have to do much but scatter the seeds. Will I really get different colors from this one creamy white plant? Jm

I have also wondered that... I always here that each year your Hollyhocks will multiply and turn into tons of different colors.
