Multicolor balloon flower

I mentioned these last year but couldn't find my photos to post. We have had two balloon flower plants in our garden for years and years, one white, one blue. Last year I noticed this one growing through a clump of yarrow. I cleared it its own space this year. I'm guessing the white and the blue plants we had crossed to produce this one.

Anyone ever see a balloon flower this color before? It's the first I'd ever seen that wasn't a single color.

Very many. I propagated Double Hakone White by seeds. In spite of the name white, quite many were actually very pale violet, and some were bicoloured like yours.

I've never seen one like that but it sure is pretty.

Looks similar to 'Axminster Streaked.'

I have some similar that came up from my tall balloon flowers, but I also have Axminster Streaked. The nice thing about Axminster is it is shorter, only gets about 15" tall. The bad part is I have a harder time getting the seeds to grow to maturity than regular balloon flowers.
