Penstemon 'Dark Towers' seeds

My Penstemon Dark Towers has some nice seed pods developing and they look fertile. Has anyone grown seedlings of this cultivar? Do they come fairly true to the parent plant?
Thanks,
Dom

I picked up a plant of Dark Towers from Santa Rosa Gardens' end-of-season sale and will be very interested in hearing what others have to say about it. I'm growing Rocky Mountain penstemon, P. Mystica and P. Husker Red from seeds but so far only the RMP & Mystica bloomed. Both came true from seed as far as I can tell. I won't know on the Husker Red until next year but the person who sent me the seeds is reliable and I'm guessing hers come true from seed. I'm liking them because they bloom early (May/June) for those of us in colder zones when we're really starved for colors other than brown, white and gray.

I have some volunteer Dark Towers seedlings. They vary. One has green leaves with purple veins. Hasn't bloomed yet. They don't look as dark as mama Dark Towers, however.

I'll try to find space for a few seedlings. Even if they aren't as pretty as the mother plant I imagine they would still be very nice.
