Did You Know Geranium Rozanne Is A Climber?

Many people love Rozanne for her amazingly long and abundant flowering period; but others complain that she is too randy, rambling all over her companions. Myself, I cherish her.
I have her planted right outside my kitchen window where i look out at a small raised garden vignette that I have designed for multi season interest. A waterfall points away from my window, and Rozanne is situated at the top of it , growing next to and over a hakonechloa aurea and onto a 12' hinoki cypress, chamaecyparis obtusa, which she then rambles up for 3 or 4'. This climbing habit indicates to me that ,in a border garden, she might be able to cover a short obelisk or toutoir with a mass of continual bloom through the summer. If her foliage is not enough to fill the form, she could be grown up the form with another more leafy plant/vine, such as a short clematis.(The newer yellow leaved clem, 'Stolwijk Gold', would make a pretty contrast with the blue purple of Rozanne' flowers.)

One of my favorite, very long interest combos, is Rozeanne climbing into Caryopteris 'Snow Fairy' and Malva alcea fastigiata. Boy oh boy!
