echinecia Big Sky Sundown

Since I am waiting for my pup to do his thing, I had my camera with taking shots of some daylily's when I thought this was a cool picture. Here is my one and only echinacia in my front garden. Its not my normal color choice, but I like it enough to keep it.

Gorgeous! I've had good luck with some of the Big Sky echs, not with others. Yours looks great!

Wow, that is one plant? Man, yours looks a lot better than mine, which is three years old. Beautiful pic!

Nice plant! I have Sundown too & love mine. I hear terrible things about it, but it has done really well here. Has reseeded quite a bit & all but 2 seedlings-out of dozens-have been the same as the parent.

As far as I know this one has failed all across Europe, so no wonder you hear terible things about it. Here in Denmark all the flowers I have seen in nurseries were distorted('tissue culture syndrome')

I like the odd pink orange color but it failed to live through our winter rains here.
