I know this has been mentioned countless times. But it needs to be said again, what a fantastic perennial Echinacea Pow wow Wildberry is! This was planted last august!

I have planted 10 of the E. Pow Wows this spring. They are at our vacation cabin in the NC mountains. I am so hoping that they overwinter. I have planted lots of Echinaceas in the past and they vanish over the winter. I have given these new ones extra good drainage, but I suspect the problem may be voles. I have kept the mulch shallow. I would be so happy to have a nice stand of them next year. Have you done anything special?

Very pretty. I've been wanting one, based on all the recommendations here. Finally found one at Lowe's over the weekend. Four in a pot for about 12.99. Thankfully we have cooler weather this week so I can get it in the ground.

It's a new bed with good soil and compost. It's raised but gets watered from sprinklers 3 times a week. I have another plant nearby that gets more sun and less water and is only half as big but blooming well

Very nice!
