can japanese bottlebrush be invasive?

I was given some japanese bottlebrush which I am not very familiar with. Is there any risk of it becoming invasive? Most of the plants I have in my woodland and prairie gardens are Wisconsin natives and I don't want to introduce anything that may cause problems. I would like to hear other's experience with this plant.
