Fall Window Box Plantings..Ideas ???

Do any of you gardeners have window boxes and what have you planted in them for a beautiful fall display?...Looking for ideas, if you have some pics would love seeing them or any websites that might have colorful pics of same.I want somehting more interesting than the standard Mums..

where are you gemini???

here in z5 MI ... but for cheap 2 dollar mums.. it isnt worth investing much money for the month or so left before it get too cold for many other options ...

Can you grow winter pansies where you are, I think they're good to zone 4. Nice bit of color in the fall and again when it warms up in early spring.

I use a few mums with some gourds, dried hydrangeas and grass seed heads as fillers. Cheap, but beautiful. Sometimes I also put on some birdhouses.
