 o
Doronicum orientale ok between late perennials?

Hi there,
I was wondering, whether I could add a short type like Little Leo among/between Rudbeckia or Helenium for a nice spring aspect, together with single early tulips or classic Darwin hybrids? I plan to sprinkle 5 to 10 Plants between to groups of the taller ones mentioned (it is a pretty small border, soil ok).
---
Anyone ever tried whether it survives in the long run? Thanks for hints or suggestions,
bye, Lin

Here it reseeds all over the place. I have no idea how long an individual plant lives, though. It isn't interplanted among anything because it also doesn't go dormant here.

thanks a lot, interesting, that it keeps growing without dormancy. I have watched a small border in my neighborhood, and those definitely go dormant.

Our summer is probably hot and dry enough.

So I will give it a go and test some, rather between clumps then in the middle of them. And seedlings would be great, lets see whether some will pop up.

Have a nice Sunday, bye,

Lin
