Variegated caryopteris

I am trying to get in idea which caryopteris I should get... it needs to stay below 3ft (although that isn't a problem, our winters usually take them down to the ground anyway) and should have a yellow variegation. I don't want the all yellow leaved varieties like Sunshine, but prefer the green and yellow variegated look. It will be next to a aster 'Moench' and behind a hosta 'August Moon'. Can you give me an idea about your experiences with the different variegated forms? Are there floppers among them? Do some loose their variegation during the summer? Stuff like that. This is in a highly visible area right next to my deck, in a tight space, I need a plant that looks good for most of the season, with the blue flowers more of an extra bonus. Thanks for your feedback.
