Plant(s) Identification

We were orginally told the plants with the green leaves were pigs ears. This does not look like a cotyledon on any internet sites. Does anyone recognize it and know the name? In the spring these plants produce either pale pink/lavendar flowers on tall stalks or magenta flowers.

The other I haven't the slightest idea of its name. It grows in the shade in moist earth. Again I would love to know the name. For some reason I am only able to load one photo Will repost with the second.

Thanks for any help
