OT: What's with all the paranoia?

(Excerpt from my post from another thread I replied to; just wanted to get this off my chest...)

What is with the paranoia about posts being yanked the last couple days? Yes, I know a post got yanked, but as far as I know, we don't know who yanked it or why.

Enough already with the comments re: I know I shouldn't say this because it might get yanked --> EITHER SAY IT OR DON'T. The added (unnecessary) verbiage is getting old and rather irritating already, and I highly doubt a post will get yanked because posters have a difference of opinion. Heck, a few years ago I told a poster to kiss my ***, and that never got yanked (said poster probably knows who he is LOL!)

Someone speaking passionately! I like that!

Maybe some folks like the drama or just creating drama for the sake of creating drama. It is August after all. August is generally kind of a nothing month, kind of a dull month.

Maybe we should fabricate a big drama just to see how far we have to go to get things yanked? Doesn't that sound fun!

HAHA yes that DOES sound like fun! (I'd hate to get banned, though - remember Spike used to send people to Disneyland back in the day, no clue where we'd be sent to now...)

... might we get sent to the... *cringe*... Landscape Design forum?

(You see that? I am doing my part to create controversy here!)

Drama! Yeah I like that! So much nicer seing it online than hearing it out of the mouth of a five year old :)
Color might be a good thread, how about a post on orange being unacceptable for the flower beds of all decent persons!?

August and January.... The two antsy months for northern gardeners...
