Haven't been on here much this summer. Been busy with stuff and not doing much in the yard. Wonder if anyone has done the combination pics thread this year. Here is one of mine that was pure accident.

RE: Been a while

Like it. What's the chartreuse green plant with the oak-like leaves?

Golden Oakleaf hydrangea 'Little Honey'? Wished they could grow in my zone...
RE: Been a while

That's correct. It's hydrangea little honey. Have three and they do great here.

LHoney is stunning miclino. Any idea how much shade it can take? Are the flowers worthwhile?

Thalictrum "Splendide" dancing in front of "Fire and Ice" hydrangea (or is it "Quick Fire")

Wow, those little honeys have grown nicely! I would have thought as a yellow leaved type they'd be slow or iffy. Nice job, I'd try one but my regular oak leaf is smaller than those due to rabbits.

That's an amazing pic rouge. I have no Thalictrum, should try it. I have little honey hydrangea in what I consider bright shade with just some filtered sun and it seems to do fine. I have them in part sun and they do a little better. The flowers are nice but hit or miss as to whether they show up. I really couldn't care less though because the foliage is amazing.
