| Just for the heck of it, I allowed a couple pods on one of the canna on my balcony to mature. Curious as to how quickly they will grow from seed. |

| I was unaware of that. Good to know. The canna in Q was a generic BBS plant. I will likely plant the seeds next spring since I have them, but without any expectations. Thanks. |

| Cannas will often flower in their first season from seed if started early enough. I have successfully grown plants raised from seed collected from named hybrids. |
