| So I told myself I wouldn't order any more after my bulb ordering, rose ordering, and my latest walk through the local nursery. However, I couldn't resist the deals Santa Rosa is having this fall, especially since the things they have left are not your usual leftover, no-one wants plants.
I decided to fill out my part shade bed and stock up on coneflowers and gaillardia since I have clay soil so I am not sure how many will make it through the winter. Here is what I ended up with: Dryopteris erythrosora
For anyone that has not ordered from them before - I have had a great experience! Plants come in larger than what I have received recently from Bluestone, I have had no packing issues, and the plants take off very quickly.

| They have great customer service. I once asked them to add on a couple of plants to an order I had already placed and they gave them to me for free! I wasn't expecting that. |

| Ok, so the reason I cracked and put together an order was that I wanted 3 more of the Ashwood Hybrids Hellebores (got three last year and can't wait for them to bloom).... when I started with the order there were 12 left. They were all gone by the time I put the order through :( But I kept the order anyway since for under $60 bucks I got all this.... Achillea Desert Eve Red I'm pleased. Not looking forward to finding spots for all, but for the prices and the excellent quality and packaging it's an unmatchable deal. Good thing I'm not into the new echinaceas and heucheras.... and last summer's order filled up my only shady spot with ferns and hostas. Otherwise it would have been worse. |

| Thank you for posting this. I have not ordered from them before and have decided to be done for this year with planting ~ 1 week ago. But after looking through their website, I can not resist. So I ordered several perennials and a bunch of hostas. All for under $30. How can I not to? Got an email confirmation that it will be shipped this week and should receive them by the end of this week. Thanks again and have fun with the fall planting. BTW there was a frost in the Chicago area. Hope it is not too late for the pereenials. Hostas should be fine. |

| Mine are all in excellent shape, as usual from Santa Rosa. |
|
| Mine are not all planted. Probably would have been a good idea to know where they're all going before buying, but that's never really worked for me. I'm more of a collector than a landscaper/designer. With the exception of the bamboos which will be potted up and kept in the garage overwinter, things are going right into the ground. I ordered some delospermas... don't know if they're going to make it, but I can gamble at this price. Plants look exceptional for clearance prices. One wrong plant, but I wouldn't even consider complaining since I love their sales. |

| I will pot mine up into gallon pots until I figure out where to plant them. I'm a collector for sure and my garden beds are quite full....I could not resist their sale |
