This plant in the right location (i.e. LOTS of space) is a spectacular fall bloomer and no pests and for sure a 'water sipper'
And even though it was extra sunny and hot this summer of 2012 it still came into full bloom at the same time as it did in 2011, the first week of September.
Here is a single plant (4.5 feet high and 4.5 feet wide) next to a Triloba.
