Shockwave finally in bloom

This particular phlox has been a very important member of our small "rose garden". The foliage is wonderful from June onwards and the blooms begin around the beginning of September.

Very nice, Rouge.

More established than ours; just bought our 'Shockwave' last fall.

Love those roses.
Haven't seen them for sale locally for last two years.

Have miniature roses. Currently getting a second blooming from them.

WOW! They look great! I'm definitely going to have to look into getting a few of these. I have, I think, Blue Paradise and I love it (though I didn't know to pinch it back early on so its kind of floppy). Looks great! Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful! I have several different kinds of garden phlox, but I love the leaves on this one. Flowers are beautiful too.

Oh, man! This reminds me that I dug up 3 struggling shockwave, threw them in a pot with very little soil and forgot all about them! We haven't had any rain either. Poor things. I don't mean to be a plant killer!

Nice photos Rouge.

Beautiful! I wish mine looked like that. How old are they? How much sun do they get? Any tips?

Thanks all.

These two plants get probably 5 hours of sun per day.

I too have BP and you are right of course ie with dead heading one gets a reasonable amount of a second flush.

Mine get that much or more. Next year is the third year, so maybe they will do better. Thanks!
