I bought this plant at the local garden center a few weeks ago but they didn't know the name of it......can anyone tell me what it is?

The lighter green foliage of the plant in the lower left corner of the photo looks to me like Agastache (altho' the flowers don't) which is commonly called hummingbird mint. Feel the stems--if they're square rather than round, it's in the mint family. They grow best in full sun & any sort of soil so far as I'm aware. They do seed around even in my Z6 garden. I have them growing in containers as well a various perennial beds. The pollinators love them.

Sorry - no idea what the other plant might be.

I have no idea. Was it purchased as a perennial? I guess that's hard to say if the nursery didn't even know what it was. Looks like you either bought multiple plants or it already spread a bit.... This might be a good time to check out the 'name this plant' forum

Thanks for all the responses......the plant has been identified as a Brazilian Bachelor's Button.
