More compact J Anemone

There is so much to like about these late blooming fall plants. But unless one has lots of room they are only really good for me for a couple of seasons and then they get too large. Here is my now too large (for its space), even with trimming, 2 year old "September Charm".

But early this season I planted a newer variety, 'Pretty Lady Susan' one of the "The Pretty Lady" series of Anemone. These are advertised as much more compact than traditional anemone ie 16" tall and at most 2 feet in spread.

This plant has just recently begun to flower. It is in a very shady location but the flowers are quite nice.

I think I will replace my 2 larger pink flowered anemones with a couple of these smaller ones.

What a great find! I will have to keep my eyes open for it. Will you let us know how long it blooms compared to the original?

Kareolina11, I will try to keep track of the duration of bloom for this new Anemone.
