I thought this plant was absolutely charming and tidy! It's growing in partial sun, zone 3, in Calgary Alberta, near the top of a bluff, so it endures very cold winters, drought, and wind. It's on the grounds of a community centre, so they must have had professionals designing the space. It is a perfect pincushion shape, about a foot high and 2 feet wide. It has lacy light green foliage and it seems to have multiple stems coming from the ground. This picture was taken in September, so I don't know if it flowers or not. I definitely want to buy this for my yard! Do you know what it is?

Leaf shape looks like galium odoratum to me, though when I grew it it did not form a neat round shape. It spread aggressively once it became established. Cheryl

Galium would form large patches, Iberis has pretty woody/ wiry stems and very dark green leaves, sitting on the branch like a bottle brush. Any chance of a close up? The branching underneath the foliage would be helpful. Iberis would prefer full sun, so that could explain the light green foliage. Bye, Lin

Perhaps a mounding perennial Geranium. Are the leaves fleshy or not in texture? And as Lin said, a closeup from the side showing branching would help. In the community center someone may be able to tell you something about the flowers such as color or season.

The angle and the light make it really hard to see but it doesn't seem to have Geranium leaves as far as I can tell. Nor do we have any idea of the scale. How about a Euphorbia? E polychroma or E cyparissias depending on the true size of the foliage.
