Trachystemon orientalis common name?

Trachystemon orientalis has a common name of "Abraham, Isaac and Joseph" -- does anyone have any ideas as to why, or the origins of this name?

Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is the correct common name.

The UK Wildflowers site (link below) indicates that it has been used over the years for Pulmonaria and Symphytum as well, in all three cases, due to the fact that the flowers change colour as they age.
