Blackberry, raspberry, and roses are their absolute favorites here - they love thorny things and will head for those first. Until you get your fence, you might try a repellent spray - I use weather resistant Bobbex with mostly success. I say mostly because you do have to spray it semi-regularly, it doesn't help still in the bottle, and with roses especially, I can lose track of when they put out a flush of new growth that needs to be protected.

Morz8, I do spray, but it's been raining a lot lately, and I admit I do not spray the things they're really not supposed to like, such as G. macrorrhizum. I know they usually love roses, but not rugosas, no? Anyway, whatever, they eat everything if they feel like it. I am just frustrated!
