I love reading about a gardener's experiences with a new plant. Thank you very much ispahan.

(This past season was the first full season in the ground for a "Walkers Low" in my garden and the one specimen did just as I wanted. Wonderful flowers, nice foliage and it became a fixture for my cat...he would often sleep or observe the wildlife from beside this particular plant.)

Is it my imagination or wasn't a GW member 'trying out' some other nepeta this past season with the distinguishing feature being chartreuse coloured foliage...something like that. Maybe it was our echinaceamaniac?

I realize it was only August when you put them in but might you be able to post some pictures?

I tend to be suspicious of the "sterile" adjective. Would love to know whether it really doesn't reseed. Did it produce any babies this season?
