Chemical burn

So my neighbor decided to spray deck/fence brightener (bleaching agent) all over the fence that separates our properties. As a result, some of it oversprayed into my garden beds and my Anemone, Malva sylvestris and Clethra (shrub) all have burned leaves.

Should I cut the anemone and Malva down? Do you think there will be any lasting damage? I want to approach my neighbor about it, but I would like to do so without overreacting. The directions on these products specifically say to cover plants because the chemicals burn leaves. Oh well, so much for reading directions.
